During the first
week in July 2009 the year 7 and year 10
Agricultural science students embarked on an
educational trip to IITA [International Institute
for Tropical Agriculture]/David's farm in Port
Harcourt. The farm practices mixed farming- fishing,
floriculture and Animal management. They are also
engaged in cassava processing and production of pure
water.
‘The students can
now effectively balance information in the classroom
with this practical experience’ say the Agricultural
science tutor.
